Required Experience
- 1-4 years of experience in software testing
- Strong foundation in manual testing methodologies
- Experience with test case design and execution
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
- Bug tracking and defect management experience
Automation Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver
- Understanding of automation frameworks
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit
- API testing using Postman or RestAssured
- Basic programming skills (Java/Python preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide testing estimates
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports
- Support automation testing initiatives (when applicable)
- Ensure compliance with testing standards and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and quality mindset
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience with testing tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of different testing types (functional, non-functional)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification
- Experience with SaaS application testing
- Knowledge of database testing (SQL queries)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Knowledge of security testing concepts
